Youngsters are good sports!

The amazing children from Bwlchgwyn Cabin Crew have raised an incredible £208 for Nightingale House from their Olympian Fun Run.

Well done to each and every one of you for raising this money.

Your fantastic fundraising will go towards looking after patients and their families at the hospice.

Thank you.

Art workshops

Two special outdoor artist workshops are being held at two beautiful North Wales locations in aid of Nightingale House Hospice – one of which is being led by our very own Community Fundraiser Mike Jones.

An outdoor landscape painting workshop will be led by local artist Penny Price on  Saturday, 7th September at Plas Newydd Historic House, Llangollen.

Mike’s workshop will be held on Saturday 28th September 2024 at the Horseshoe Falls, Llangollen.
Both workshops are suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

There is no cost to take part but organisers are suggesting a £20 donation per person for the hospice.
Penny’s workshop is now sold out and just two places remain on Mikey’s.

Donation drive success

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated items through our ‘Donation Drive’ at our Regent Street store last weekend.

It was a huge success, but it wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful community.

Your generosity will make the biggest difference, we appreciate your support so, so much.

Thank you to generous Wrexham AFC fans

An incredible £1,233.07 was raised from the bucket collection at Wrexham AFC’s first home game of the season on the 10th of August! The fans were extremely generous.

There was a great atmosphere and buzz around the stadium before the match. Some of our volunteers and staff even attended the game afterwards!

We are so pleased with the amount raised and are so grateful to our wonderful community and Wrexham AFC for their ongoing support.

Card making session for patients

Our wonderful Wellbeing Patients have been flexing their creative muscles by making some beautiful cards. Don’t they look amazing?

Workshops like these in our Wellbeing Centre are definitely enjoyed by everyone and we were very impressed by all the beautiful cards that were made!

And finally, we are delighted to share the news that our very own Caffi Cwtch is in the top five cafes in our region.

The Leader have turned to Tripadvisor to discover the Top 5 Cafes based on your recommendations. We are so thrilled to see Caffi Cwtch getting the recognition it deserves and being included in the top five picks.

All of our wonderful staff and volunteers work super hard to provide the best service, the Cafe wouldn’t be the same without them.

Caffi Cwtch is an extremely important part of the hospice as it brings in vital funds to support patient care.

But these funds wouldn’t be possible without our community, who continuously show support by coming to visit the Cafe.
