Join us on Saturday, 7th June 2025, for a fun-filled fundraising walk through the streets of Wrexham.

Whether you’re an avid walker, looking for a memorable night out, or want to honour a loved one, the Midnight Walk is an experience like no other.

Ticket Type and Availability: 

This year, we have a tiered ticket price for this event. So the quicker you register, the better deal you get! But, we know some people might also want to maximise the money for the hospice, so whilst there is still the tiered pricing option, you can also pay the full £30 if you wish. Whichever way, thank you so much for your support!

All entry fees go towards covering the cost of the event, we encourage all walkers to raise £30 sponsorship in order to maximise the fundraising to help support patient care at Nightingale House Hospice.

Every penny you raise by taking part in this event will help us to continue to provide the patient care and family support services at Nightingale House Hospice. We will help you along your fundraising journey by providing support and ideas throughout!

FAQS

Can we register as a group?

If you would like to sign up as a group of more than 10 people please call us on 01978 314 292.

Can children take part?

All entrants must be 12 or over on the day of the event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

What time does registration open? 

We will open registration from 9pm.

How long does it take? 

You can complete the walk at entirely at your own pace. On average it can take around 45 minutes for an individual to walk 5k and around 90 minutes to walk 10K. However, it all depends on the speed you are walking, there is no rush! 

What’s the Dress Code? 

The brighter the better! 

Although there is no official dress code for the Midnight Walk, we do encourage supporters to wear bright colours. However, the most important thing is raising funds and promoting the hospice services, so whatever you decide to wear we are grateful for your support. 

How do we collect our T-shirts? 

We are holding T-Shirt Collections and selling our glowing and flashing merchandise at Caffi Cwtch on the following dates and times:

• Thursday 22nd May 2025, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
• Wednesday, 28th May 2025, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm,
• Sunday, 1 June 2025, 10am – 2pm

If you can’t make a collection evening. Fret not! You can still grab T-shirts and merch on the night itself.

Do I have to raise sponsorship?

Nightingale House Hospice reply on donations and community support. In 2025 alone it will cost over 5 million to run our hospice services. We encourage all our Midnight Walkers to raise as much sponsorship as possible. What’s the route like?  

Both the 5K and 10K routes are along flat surfaces and are wheelchair friendly. However, like any challenge the walk does require some preparation.  You can decide which route to take on the night, you do not have to commit right now. 

Where do we get the free water bottles? 

Bottles will be available to collect at the water refill station on Llwyn Isaf on the night of the Midnight Walk.
