Holt Church Abseil – Take the Leap for Nightingale House!

Join us for an unforgettable experience as you descend from the historic St Chad’s Church in Holt – all in support of Nightingale House Hospice! This thrilling abseil is part of our Longest Day Lasting Care campaign, where we aim to match fund up to £5,000 if we sell all 50 spaces. Every participant’s sponsorship helps us provide vital hospice care, making a real difference in our community.

How to Take Part

Registration Fee: £30
Sponsorship: Challenge yourself to raise as much sponsorship as possible to support patient care at the Hospice.

Who Can Abseil?

✅ Ages 10–18 can participate if accompanied by an adult who is also abseiling.
✅ Participants must arrive 30 minutes before their allocated slot to register at the church entrance.
✅ Trained instructors from AbseilUK will fit participants with harnesses and guide them safely through the experience.

What You Need to Know

🚫 No mobile phones or cameras allowed on the roof.
💍 Remove all hand jewellery, tie back long hair, and wear suitable clothing (no loose/baggy garments).
👟 Footwear: Boots or trainers required.
🌀 The ascent to the roof includes a spiral staircase with a rope handrail – volunteers will be on hand to assist.
