Join the Lantern Parade: A Night of Light and Hope in Wrexham
Experience a magical evening as the city centre comes alive with light! Join our Lantern Parade, and light up the streets of Wrexham in support of Nightingale House Hospice. This special evening is a chance to come together with our community, carrying lanterns that symbolise the care and compassion the hospice brings to so many.
Register now for the sponsored Lantern Parade on Saturday, 16th November, where your lantern will shine brightly as we walk through Wrexham as part of the cities Christmas lights switch on event.
Collect and decorate your lantern at our Lantern Making Workshops on Saturday 9th November at 12:30 – 15:30 in Chapter Court and 16th November at 12:30 – 15:30 in the Chapter Court Event Space off Queens Square.
Enjoy stalls and entertainment in Queen’s Square, and a festive entertainment before the walk. The parade will light up the pedestrianised streets, ending in Eagles Meadow with more entertainment into the evening.
Come dressed in your most festive attire—Christmas jumpers, tinsel, or even fairy lights on your pram!
