Light Up A Life Service at Nightingale House
Final preparations are being made for Nightingale House Hospice’s annual Light up a Life Service which gives families an opportunity to make a lasting dedication to their lost loved ones.
This year the service will be held in the grounds of Nightingale House on Chester Road on Sunday, December 1st at 4.30pm.
A highlight of the service will be the lighting of the hospice’s Remembrance Tree. Each light on the tree represents a dedication made to a loved one.
Members of the community are invited to make dedications ahead of the service which will appear in the hospice’s Book of Honour. Dedications received ahead of Wednesday, November 20th will appear in the Book during the December 1st event.
Any dedications received later than November 20th will be added to the Book of Honour after the service. The Book will be available to view throughout the year at the hospice.
Even if your loved one was not a patient at the hospice, you are still welcome to make a dedication and attend the service.
