Social Worker
37.5 Hours per Week
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Nightingale House Hospice is seeking an experienced qualified Social Worker to join the Family Support team. You will be an effective communicator with effective interpersonal skills and have the following:-
• Experience of working in palliative care multi-disciplinary team
• Experience of working with bereaved children and adults
• Teaching skills and experience in preparation and delivery of education
• Experience supporting students (practice educator)
You will need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the social, psychological and spiritual needs of individuals and families facing life limiting illness, death and bereavement.
The Family Support team also provides a non-medicalised child bereavement service within our catchment area and pre and post bereavement support to adults known to hospice services.
Nightingale House Hospice provides high quality palliative and end of life care to a significant and growing number of people living with a life limiting illness in Northeast Wales and beyond.
